About East Drinks West
A Taiwan-based craft beer importer, exporter and distributor. Trading since 2014.
East Drinks West started with a simple observation: the beer that made it to Taiwan usually arrived tired. Shipped warm, sat in a container, sold months past its best. Great breweries were being represented by their worst bottles.
So we built the route ourselves. We pick the breweries, agree exclusivity, handle registration and TFDA labelling, ship refrigerated, and store cold on arrival. By the time it reaches a bar in Taipei it tastes the way it does at the brewery taproom.
Then we turned the lane around. Taiwan, Korea and Hong Kong are brewing beer that deserves an audience beyond Asia, and the same paperwork and freight knowledge works in reverse. East drinks west; west drinks east.

Reefer freight and cold storage on every shipment. No exceptions, no “it will be fine”.

We would rather represent nineteen breweries properly than ninety badly.
